There are few who will argue that since the credit crunch began many of the rules associated with the financial world have changed. In particular, it would appear that the big is no longer beautiful, there is no shame in accepting charity from the taxpayer, and that when the going gets tough, bankers are even more entitled to their bonuses than they normally would be.
